Managing competition and regulatory risk is of ever increasing importance. Berwin Leighton Paisner has recently established a dedicated, stand alone EU and competition team in London and Brussels, which includes leading practitioners with many years’ experience of advising on the most complex transactions and cases at EU and national level.

The team advises all aspects of competition law including: advising on merger control issues, advising on cartel cases at EU and national level, assisting clients in connection with sectoral enquiries, advising in relation to abuse of market powers, helping clients to establish compliance programmes, advising on the impact of competition law and on litigation in the national and European courts. This work is provided for some of the biggest clients in the business such as Inco Limited, the London Investment Banking Association and Transport for London.

Our increasing success and exposure in this area has led to the need to add an additional associate to the team. Ideally 2+ years’ qualified,  candidates will need to have experience in all categories of competition law, strong academic records as well as excellent commercial awareness and a good knowledge of economics.

We have a position available in our Brussels office.
