Michael Polonsky

Michael is a partner in the Corporate Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution department of Berwin Leighton Paisner. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of commercial litigation and arbitration, including claims for breach of contract; civil fraud; breach of fiduciary duty; breach of warranty; recoveries in cross-border insolvency disputes; recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments; and obtaining evidence for use abroad.

Michael is a member of the International Bar Association and the British Institute of International & Comparative Law. He represented the International Bar Association at the meetings of the Hague Conference on Private International Law which discussed a worldwide jurisdiction and judgments convention.

Michael has represented various organisations from around the globe. His recent instructions have come from Burberry Group plc and Hollinger International Inc.

He is named as a leading individual in commercial litigation in Chambers and a leader in his field by Chambers Global 2007.
