BLP advises West Properties on development of Manchester W hotel

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) advised West Properties on its hotel management agreement with Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide Inc. for a W Hotel in Manchester.

The hotel, due to open in 2010, will form an integral part of West Properties lifestyle - orientated ‘Origin’ mixed-use development.  Starwood’s W brand has become the fastest growing luxury hotel brand in the world.  W Manchester will boast 160 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a signature spa, fitness facility, retail and a world-class destination restaurant. 

Senior associate Elaine Johnson, a member of the firm’s hotels group, advised West Properties.
