BLP advises Lehman Brothers on investment in Chancerygate (Business Centres) Limited

Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP (BLP) has acted for global financier, Lehman Brothers on its investment in its joint venture partner, Chancerygate (Business Centre) Limited, a UK market leader in the development and sale of branded freehold business space units, to fund its acquisition and development of new sites.

BLP’s John Bennett was the lead partner on the deal working with a team of corporate and real estate lawyers including Benjamin Lee (corporate), Marc Trottier (corporate), Alan Wight (real estate) and Zahra Bardai (real estate).

Commenting on the deal, John said, “We were delighted to have advised Lehman Brothers on this deal.  Our client’s funding will help Chancerygate achieve its nationwide expansion programme.”
