Berwin Leighton Paisner advises Estates Computer Systems on substantial acquisition

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) acted for Estates Computer Systems (ECS) on its acquisition of Fraser Williams Commercial Systems (Fraser Williams), for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition includes Fraser Williams Americas which carries out business in North America.
ECS is one of the largest software houses in the property marketplace; providing property management software solutions for Managing Agents, Occupiers, Property Companies, Investors in Property, Government and Block Managers.
The combination of ECS with Fraser Williams is hoped to create one of the most significant property systems suppliers in the world. The ECS Group also includes Landmaster and FDS Advanced Systems.
Corporate partner John Bennett led the deal with James Maynard and Hugh Naylor. Jonathan Dickson (corporate), Elizabeth Reid (corporate) and Sophie Vann (banking) assisted them.
