We were included for the first time in the prestigious Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For in 2008, ranking 74th place amongst the leading employers in the country. This backs up other research by Sweet & Maxwell which ranked the firm as the UK's Top Legal Employer in both 2007 and 2008.

The facts

• We are a full service City law firm operating as a limited liability partnership.
• We have approximately 1,250 people with around 650 lawyers, including 180 partners, and our turnover in 2007/08 was £185m.
• As well as our office in London, we have offices in Brussels, Paris and Singapore, and plan to open an office in Abu Dhabi in early 2009. We have non-exclusive, proactively managed relationships with over 100 preferred firms in more than 65 countries around the world.
• Our clients are diverse and include major corporate organisations and financial institutions through to government, prominent public sector bodies and individuals.

The firm is not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 but we are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services to clients because we are members of the Law Society. We can provide these investment services if they are an incidental part of the professional services we have been engaged to provide.
